World Road Association's B5 Technical Committee
The Congress Scientific Committee is composed of membres of the World Road Association (PIARC) Technical Committee B5 on winter service. This Committee is chaired by Gudrun Öberg of the Swedish National Road & Transport Research Institute. Its 45 members work in organizations managing road systems in 29 countries.
The B5 Committee is also working jointly with the PIARC General Secretariat and is responsible for all technical content of the Congress, from the choice of themes to the selection of papers.
